Get old/delinquent student loans removed from credit report?

I have a student loan showing up as sixteen different accounts on my credit report past 60 days and deferred on each from 2002. Currently the loan is consolidated, current and was transferred to Sallie Mae. Any suggestion on how I can consolidate from the 16 to 1 or have it removed all together?
