Engagement canceled - who get's what?

I find it terribly sad, that two people aren't adult enough to make decisions fairly, by themselves. The idea of court and lawyers getting involved is ludicrous. By the time it's all said and done, the lawyers will be the only winners. Things they purchased individually, go to those who purchased them. Things they purchased together should be split fairly. If that's impossible, then perhaps they should simply flip a coin for stuff they can't agree on....That would save the effort of decision making... ♥♥
