I just barely got this Harley and it already needs a complete engine overhaul, should I get a Japanese bike?

Absolutely!!!! I would run right out an buy the fastest Yamakawda made. By doing this you will destroy your body long before the bike wore out. I would never put up with poor longevity like that, after all you paid good money that bike. I would hire the best lawyer you can find, and sue the Harley Davidson Motor Company. I only suggest this because there are those of us that do ride more than "average" 2000 miles a year. This law suit would undoubtedly make those thieving executives sell a product that would really be worth what you paid for it.
