Question about the Jon & Kate plus 8 separation. Are they telling the kids?

they may have told the children and just didn't film it, because it is pretty personal. it's definitely weird how it seems like in the upcoming episodes, they still act like a family that lives together and everything, which completely contradicts what's going on in real life. i think that kate has changed a lot since the show's premiere. she used to seem really genuine and sincere, but in the first episode of this season, when the tuplets had their birthday party, it seemed like she kept bringing up the paparazzi every ten minutes like she secretly enjoyed the fact that they were spying on her. she also seemed really fake when talking to the other parents. i just hope jon and kate get it together and don't end up damaging their kids.
